Amazing Uses For Coffee

Kill fridge odor. Place a bowl of fresh, unused coffee grounds inside and leave it for a day or two.

Erase smells on your hands. Rub a handful of used coffee grounds on your hands and rinse with warm water.

Make compost. Coffee grounds are rich in phosphorous, potassium, magnesium and copper, and they release nitrogen into the soil as they degrade.

Get shiny hair. Brew up an extra-strong pot, let it cool and apply it to dry, clean hair. Leave it on for at least twenty minutes, then rinse.

Exfoliate skin. Make your own coffee-based scrub by combining a tablespoon of coffee grounds with half a tablespoon of olive oil and, optionally, a drop of your favorite essential oil.

Repel ants. Sprinkle dry, used coffee grounds in problem areas where you notice ants in your home or yard.

Keep cats out of your garden. Sprinkle used coffee grounds on the soil, and cats will want nothing to do with it.

Scrub all kinds of surfaces. Coffee grounds are great for scrubbing surfaces like countertops, cooking ranges and refrigerators.

Secret recipe ingredient. Just a little hint of coffee will enhance the flavor of foods like chili, ice cream and chocolate cake. Use it in marinade for steaks. They will be unbelievably tender.

Touch up furniture scratches. Scratches on wood furniture disappear almost instantly by simply rubbing in a little bit of instant coffee dampened into a paste with hot water.

Repel fleas. Rub used, damp coffee grounds through your pet's fur after bathing to repel fleas.

Natural dye. The natural pigments in coffee make it a great dye for fabric and paper. Brush paper and let it dry, or soak fabric items in hot coffee

HELLO - REMEMBER ME

I can't believe it has been two months, shame on me for not posting sooner, sorry but life has gotten in the way. I hope that everyone is doing well. I have finally settled in and have creating again, made a bunch of Halloween Cards but now can't find my camera. Oh well I know it is someplace safe, just can't remember where that safe place is. This is a card that I made awhile ago but have not shared. I love this frog stamp and just had to make a bunch of birthday cards with him the day he arrived. I used my copic markers to color him in.
Take care and promise to be more regular with my posts in the future.

I'm Still Here

Sorry to be gone so long, well I am here and I am dry. Tropical Storm Fay certainly hung around, it crossed Central Florida from west to east and then the SOB, came back across Central Florida from east to west. I am lucky, had no damage or flooding although there are many that cannot make that claim. I hope to have my stamps and goodies unpacked by Labor Day but with Gustav on the Horizon we will have to see. I love these stickers and since my stamps are still in boxes wanted to create something so out they came. Take care everyone.
